We’re proud to announce that Professor Elefteria Psillakis Chief Editor of the Environmental Evaluation part of Frontiers in Analytical Science has been recognized by The Analytical Scientist as one of many 2021 most influential folks in analytical science.

Elefteria (Elia) Psillakis is Full Professor in Water Chemistry on the College of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Technical College of Crete, Greece. She acquired her PhD from the College of Bristol in the UK. In 2007, she was awarded with a Fulbright Analysis Fellowship to go to the California Institute of Expertise (Caltech), USA.

Her investigations have resulted in two patents, a number of e book chapters and 100 publications in ISI Journals. Moreover, her publications have acquired three “Prime cited article” awards. In 2012 and 2013, she was vice-chair of the European chemistry analysis panel for the EU Marie-Curie excellence fellowships. Later, from 2014-2016 she acted because the Deputy Rector of Tutorial Affairs and Analysis on the Technical College of Crete and has served twice because the Director of postgraduate research. She is presently the Head of the Pattern Preparation Research Group of the European Chemical Society-Division of Analytical Chemistry and Chief of WG4 “Pattern Remedy and Microfluidics” in COST Motion Port ASAP – European community for the promotion of moveable, inexpensive, and easy analytical platforms. As well as, she is the Founder and Director of ExtraTech Analytical Options Single Member PC, a Spin-Off Firm.
