Netflix’ Resident Evil live-action sequence oozes onto screens in July – Destructoid

Netflix has introduced a premiere date for its beforehand teased live-action sequence set throughout the world of Resident Evil. The difference of Capcom’s gooey sport sequence will debut on the streaming service July 14.

As beforehand reported, Resident Evil — for that’s the present’s moniker — will observe two associated timelines set through the lead-up and aftermath of a world bio-weapon catastrophe. One timeline follows the teenage youngsters of longtime Resi villain Albert Wesker as they nervously step round their father’s unusual and foreboding experiments. The second timeline, which can run within the present concurrently, is ready 14 years later, with the planet engulfed in apocalyptic, monster-filled chaos.

The eight-episode season is being produced by showrunner Andrew Dabb, (of Supernatural fame),  and stars a hip ‘n’ fashionable solid that can see Lance Reddick — who you could know because the sinister “Charon” within the John Wick sequence, don the equally sinister sun shades of Albert Wesker. The solid is rounded out by younger stars Siena Agudong, Ella Balinska, Paola Nunez, Adeline Rudolph, and Tamara Good. In typical Netflix style, all eight episodes will drop without delay, so you may get your binge on if that’s the way you select to stay your life.

Netflix’ Resident Evil can be simply the newest in a flurry of current display diversifications of the survival horror sequence. Summer time 2021 noticed the launch of Netflix anime sequence Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, whereas the previous fall introduced us cinematic escapades within the type of film Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon Metropolis.
